My name is Debbie, and I am a passionate jewellery designer with over a decade of experience in creating pieces that hold deep meaning. For nearly eleven years, I’ve dedicated myself to the art of jewellery design, but it wasn’t until a heartbreaking loss that I found my true purpose. When I lost my beloved furry friend, Arnie, I sought comfort in the thought of memorial jewellery. However, the options available back then were beyond my price range when looking at established well known business that charged £200 + per piece. This led me on a personal journey to create my own keepsake jewellery, and from that, Sentimental Keepsake was born—a business founded on love, compassion, and the desire to offer affordable, meaningful pieces to others and offer many 3 for 2 offers making jewellery even more accessible for families. 

Sentimental Keepsake is deeply personal to me and now a well established brand. Having faced the pain of losing loved ones, including my mother to cancer, my father to suicide, and my cherished fur babies, Arnie Hugo and Max, I understand the profound grief that accompanies such losses. These experiences have taught me that grief has no timeline, and it’s essential to surround yourself with those who truly care and to show kindness to yourself.

People often ask why my prices are so affordable. The answer is simple: I’ve built my business on the lessons learned from my own losses. By keeping my overhead costs low—working from home, maintaining my own website, and operating without additional staff except during busy periods—I’m able to offer quality keepsakes at prices that reflect my belief that everyone should have access to meaningful jewellery.

I primarily work with 925 sterling silver, a beautiful yet affordable material, allowing me to create pieces that are both accessible and enduring. I believe in charging fair prices, aligning with my values and ensuring that my business remains a labor of love.

Every piece of jewellery I create is deeply personal. I take great pride in knowing that each customer’s precious ashes are handled with the utmost care, passing only through my hands. This connection goes beyond the physical piece; it’s a bond that I cherish.

Outside of my work, I am a mother to two wonderful adult daughters, Thea and Paige, and I share my life with two delightful chihuahuas, Woody and Bobo, who bring constant joy to my days. Since starting Sentimental Keepsake, I have been profoundly moved by the stories my customers share. These stories remind me daily that life and love are fleeting and invaluable, urging us to cherish every moment with those we hold dear.
